Environmental Management Systems (UNE EN ISO 14001, EMAS Regulation)
Description
An environmental Management System, according to the Standard UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2004 allows an organization to develop and implant its environmental policy through the definition of a series of objectives and environmental programs, and always taking into account the legal requirements and significant environmental aspects of the Organization.
The objective of EMAS Regulation (Regulation 1221/2009 related to the voluntary participation of organizations in a common system of environmental management and audits) is the continuous improvement of the organization environmental behavior through the establishment and application of an Environmental Management System and the diffusion of information about its environmental behavior, the open dialog with its stakeholders and the training and active involvement of the personnel.
What we do
Our experience in different sectors, allow us to define a management system successfully tested, which implies the effective implementation of the following phases:
- Initial diagnosis. Design of environmental management system, part of a diagnosis that allows defining the most effective response to the reality of the organization and its environmental aspects. In order to detect the starting point of the organization against the requirements of the UNE EN ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements.
- Elaboration of SGA documentation in order to comply the Standard’s requirement.
- Advice on the implementation, our consultants will support you during the management system implementation at all times with proactive and professional attitude.
- Internal Audit, as a prerequisite to certification, we will check the compliance with the standard.
